Drawing inspiration from Cheshire's history, Weetwood Distillery began distilling in 2018, pulling on the timeless traditions of whisky-making for inspiration whilst creating their own unique classic Cheshire Single Malt. Every aspect of the whisky-making process is done on site in the heart of Cheshire, with greater loss to the angels providing more character in the spirit. The Second Release is full of depth with flavours of sweet, creamy malt, orchard fruits, toasted nuts, spice and even a hint of smoke... A promise of sweetness
The Cheshire Single Malt English Whisky
Every aspect of the whisky making process takes place on site in the heart of rural Cheshire; with English malted Barley, soft Cheshire water and pitch yeast all slowly double distilled in a 400-ltr copper pot still.
The new make is then matured in Ex-Bourbon American Oak STR Quarter Casks and finished in European Oak casks to capture flavours of creamy malt, orchard fruits, toasted nuts and spice... Cheers!
